Brother’s bobbin-type support answer includes CS7000X and names SA156, a clear plastic Class 15 type bobbin. It specifically excludes metal bobbins.
Brother sells SA156 as a ten-pack. Its product page describes a security notch for winding and clear material for machines that use a bobbin-thread sensor.
Use the model list for this bobbin only
The linked SA156 family page includes the machine codes listed by Brother. Search with the full code, such as CS7000X, CS5055 or SE700. Inclusion in this bobbin family does not make the machines’ feet, bobbin cases, hoops or controllers interchangeable.
Read the depth and reference on a listing
SA156 is 7/16 inch deep. Match the reference and clear-plastic construction, not just a seller’s broad Class 15 wording. The original bobbin and the machine manual provide a useful comparison when packaging is unclear.
If a previously working bobbin starts jamming
Check for damaged flanges, incorrect winding and an incorrect loading path. Stop using a cracked or distorted bobbin. A persistent problem with the specified bobbin requires the model’s troubleshooting instructions; changing to a metal style is not a correction.
